Product sections
Choose the Oopbuy category that matches what you want to buy.
Start with the item type instead of opening a long mixed list. Shoes, hoodies, bags, watches, and accessories all need different checks, so browsing them separately makes comparison easier.
A category page is more than a shortcut. It is the fastest way to compare similar listings, notice missing details, and avoid choosing an item just because the first thumbnail looked good. Use the category that matches your current intent, then open two or three alternatives before saving anything.
How to choose the right category first
If you are browsing without a product type, start from the main Oopbuy finds page. If you already know the item, go directly to the closest category. The right category changes the questions you ask, so it also changes which photos and measurements matter.
| Category | What to compare first | Common reason to skip |
|---|---|---|
| Shoes and sneakers | Shape, side profile, sole, insole length, heel tab, color, and size chart. | The listing has only one angle or the size information is unclear. |
| Hoodies, shirts, and sweaters | Chest width, shoulder width, length, fabric weight, collar shape, and print placement. | The product uses only promo photos and gives no useful measurements. |
| Pants and shorts | Waist, rise, thigh, inseam, fabric texture, pocket shape, and fit notes. | The sizing system is vague or the seller does not show flat measurements. |
| Bags and wallets | Stitching, hardware color, strap shape, zipper quality, interior lining, and scale. | The outside photo looks fine but there are no detail or interior shots. |
| Jewelry, watches, and accessories | Finish, clasp, engraving, lens tint, dial details, dimensions, and exact variant. | Small differences are hidden by low-resolution photos or unclear SKU names. |
Build a shortlist instead of a giant saved list
A useful category session should end with a short set of options. Save the strongest three to five products, write one reason each item stayed, and remove anything with missing photos, confusing variants, or a total cost that no longer makes sense.
Keep the item when
- The live page matches the spreadsheet or product index note.
- Photos show the details that matter for the category.
- Sizes, colors, and versions are separated clearly.
- The expected weight and shipping impact still fit your budget.
Remove it when
- The seller changed the product, photos, or available variants.
- The listing requires guessing about size, material, or color.
- Similar products nearby have clearer photos and better notes.
- You would not feel comfortable approving the item after QC.
